About Us
Hamilton Homecare was created from a simple belief: families deserve better support as they care for the people they love.
Founded by a registered nurse, our company grew out of years spent in healthcare staffing and disaster-response environments, where preparation, accountability, and follow-through are essential. Our work is guided by how we would want care handled for our own family members, with clear communication and attention to the details that make home feel like home.
Our Mission
Our mission is to care for older adults at home the way we would care for our own family: reliably, responsively, and with genuine respect for each person’s needs.
We believe home care should make life easier, not more complicated. Every plan of care is shaped around real routines, real homes, and real needs, with the goal of helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and supported in the homes they love.
Our Vision
Our vision is to raise expectations for home care by offering a more responsive, reliable, and compassionate alternative, one that helps families feel confident, supported, and at peace with the care their loved one receives.
Hamilton Homecare exists to raise expectations for what home care can be by blending strong systems with genuine human connection.
What Sets Us Apart
Families often tell us they can feel the difference right away. That’s because Hamilton Homecare is built differently. We offer:
-
Nurse-Led Oversight:
Our care is guided by registered nurse leadership, bringing clinical insight, organization, and accountability into every decision, not just at intake, but throughout the care journey. -
Preparedness You Can Count On:
With roots in disaster-response staffing, we approach care with a mindset of readiness. When needs change, questions arise, or plans shift, we respond with clarity and follow-through. -
Real Human Access:
When you call us, you speak with a real person who listens and helps you move forward. We believe access matters, especially during moments of uncertainty. -
Family-Centered Care:
Every decision is filtered through one question: Is this how we would want care handled for our own family? That belief shapes how we communicate, staff, and support each household we serve.
Leadership
Angela Hamilton, Founder and Client Care Manager
Angela Hamilton is a registered nurse with more than a decade of experience working alongside individuals and families during illness, recovery, and crisis. Her background spans healthcare staffing and disaster-response environments, where organization, calm leadership, and accountability are critical.
Angela founded Hamilton Homecare after witnessing how impersonal systems and rushed care can leave families feeling unsupported. She believed there was a better way to provide home care, one grounded in preparation, responsiveness, and respect for the lives already being lived.
She leads with the belief that strong systems should support people, not replace connection. Under her guidance, Hamilton Homecare prioritizes clear communication, meticulous care planning, and dependable follow-through.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys gardening, restoring and driving her 1957 Chevy, and supporting community organizations, including local animal rescues and military service nonprofits.
Our Care Team
The heart of Hamilton Homecare is our care team.
Caregivers are carefully selected not only for their skills, but for their reliability, professionalism, and respect for the people they serve.
- Qualifications and Vetting: Every caregiver undergoes a thorough screening process, including background checks, reference verification, and skills assessments. We look for individuals who take pride in their work and understand the responsibility of caring for someone in their home.
- Training and Support: Caregivers receive ongoing training and support to ensure they are prepared for a wide range of needs, from daily personal care to more complex situations. Our nurse-led leadership remains actively involved, offering guidance and oversight so caregivers never feel unsupported in the field.

A Team Approach
We believe caregivers do their best work when they feel respected and backed by a strong team. That philosophy leads to greater consistency, stronger relationships, and better care for the families we serve.
